Dr. Carlos Guevara joins Morton

Carlos Guevara, D.O., has joined Morton Comprehensive Health Services as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology.

“I am excited about the opportunity to work at Morton. My goal will be to provide exceptional service to women in our community. I invite you to come and see me soon,” said Dr. Guevara.

Dr. Guevara is a native of McAllen, Texas and bilingual in Spanish and English. He completed his residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa after receiving his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas Pan American University.

In addition to his medical responsibilities at Morton, Dr. Guevara is the George Kaiser Family Foundation Endowed Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the OSU Medical Center. In 2018, he was named Rookie Physician of the Year by the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association. In addition to his medical duties, he is an assistant clinical professor at OSU Medical Center. Dr. Guevara is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
