West Tulsa Ribbon-Cutting and Tree Planting ceremonies

MORTON TO HOLD RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY FOR WEST TULSA CENTER
June 2, 2016 – TULSA, OKLA. – Morton is to host ribbon-cutting and tree planting ceremonies at its newest location in west Tulsa on Fri., June 3 at 11 a.m. The address is 6116 W. 11th St. in the Sandy Park housing edition of the Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa.

What:  Ribbon-Cutting and Tree Planting Ceremonies (The tree planting ceremony is in honor of long-time Tulsa Housing Authority Board Member Ruth Kaiser Nelson)

When:  Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Where: Morton-West Tulsa Family Health Center, 6116 W. 11th St.

“The new location will be our fourth health center within Tulsa. We are excited about the opportunity to offer our services and provide convenient access to those services in west Tulsa,” said Susan Savage, CEO of Morton Comprehensive Health Services.

In August 2015, Morton received a $482,418 New Access Point federal grant to expand primary care services into west Tulsa. MCHS was one of five community health centers in the state to receive federal funding. In the approximately 2,500 square feet remodeled facility, the center has three (3) examination rooms and a lab.
