Montague is the chief medical officer. He oversees the primary care physicians and providers at Morton and its various offices at Lansing Park, East Tulsa, Homeless Health Clinic, Bartlesville, Nowata and additional satellite locations. Montague has been with Morton since 2002.
He is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the American Red Cross CPR/AED for health care providers. Montague began his medical career as an independent duty hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy. He is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Montague has more than 35 years in the practice of medicine.
Montague is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and Jefferson College of Health Sciences (Va.)
Dr. Mehnert-Kay is chief of family medicine and site director for the Teaching Health Center Family Medicine Residency program. She is responsible for supervising a medical staff in family medicine that serves northeastern Oklahoma through seven locations. Also, she coordinates the on-site programming and instruction for medical students during their residencies at Morton.
Mehnert-Kay has served as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Family Practice at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Oklahoma Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and the Tulsa County Medical Society. Mehnert-Kay has 25 years experience in research and in the field of medicine.
She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center (Oklahoma City, Okla.) and the Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Harris-Beatty serves as dental director. She supervises and directs the dental operations and its personnel within the Morton system. Before joining Morton, Harris-Beatty served as dental chair of operations at Crusader Community Health in Rockford, Ill., and dental director at Southern Dominion Health System in Victoria, Va.
She is licensed to practice in Illinois, Oklahoma and Virginia. Harris-Beatty is a member of the American Dental Association and a graduate of ADA’s Institute for Diversity in Leadership, and is a member of the National Network for Oral Health Access and the National Oral Health Council.
Dr. Harris-Beatty is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry (Chapel Hill, N.C.) and Xavier University (New Orleans, La.).
Dr. Copp is the director of optometry. He directs the operations of the department and the services provided that range from eye exams to comprehensive diabetic and hypertensive dilated exams to onsite optical frame selections among other services.
Prior to joining Morton, he was a clinical professor at the Cherokee Nation Rural Health Clinic, an optometrist at Loving Eye Care and TLC Laser Eye Center.
He is a honor graduate for the Advanced Individual Training in Fort Sill, Okla., and was a Battalion Soldier of the Month and Soldier of the Quarter, and was the Top Colt in 2001 with the highest individual score on the written exam.
Dr. Copp is a graduate of School of Optometry at Northeastern State University and Tulsa Community College.
